Protect HTML content

An option that can be interesting when creating an application with local web pages is to protect the content of web pages by encrypting them so that no one can create new applications with our content.

Hi @SuBc , Thank you for your valuable suggestion. We will consider your suggestion with upcoming releases.

  3. Thanks for taking it into account, if you decompress the apk, you will find everything, ready to modify and create a new apk.

  4. Hello,

I have used a test program to encrypt the local web pages, I have tested them in the XAMPP application which is a local server, and the web pages look without problems, but when I create the apk and run it on Android the application shows nothing .

How can I protect / encrypt the local web pages, so that the time and work invested is not copied and taken advantage of?

Yes, Me also wondering about this issue...
Because protecting HTML files almost impossible, it always open, so we must use some tricks on apk side,
For that we must wait for the developer of website2apk! _| ̄|○

@Jayaprakash , I have many times told that if someone does not work, you can contact support, if there is some specific issue with you, you need to contact support. Public Forum is to discuss issues.

    @Jayaprakash , As you quoted @SuBc ,

It states that @SuBc encrypted his content, but it is specifically not working with website 2 APK. If you have similar issue, you should contact support.

  9. I also made the request for Website2apk to encrypt the code of web pages.

I have tried to encrypt web pages with another program, but, putting the encrypted web pages on website2apk does not work.

I always talk about local web pages.

  10. @SuBc I also made the request for Website2apk to encrypt the code of web pages.

Even if you encrypt the HTML files, it is easy to crack it.
Just extract them from apk, open it in a browser , goto view source. Game over.

@Jayaprakash , I will suggest you to hire some expert Android Developer and a Security Researcher to keep an eye to your Apps and take much care of them.

@SuBc , Why not you consider reaching out the Support Center.

You can make your apps as much secure as you are able to be. Use your hard coding skills to make it secure and reliable. We can help you in making it much more feature-full, but development part is yours, go ahead for some good work.
